Leisure Time in the UK
As I said before, it is my second year in Brighton and in the UK. In this time period, I have had quite a lot of free time to spend. First year when I came here I was 17. So there was not many choices to spend time with. All I did was spending time with friends in the residence. It was one of our best to do. We were sitting in a common room and we were chatting for hours. The other thing we were enjoyed was to play football. However, as you can imagine, British weather is not letting people to spend their time outside. Most of the time, it is either rainy,cloudy or windy. So it was difficult to play in Preston Park.
The picture on the left hand side and below this paragraph are picture that have taken while we were playing football with friends in Preston Park. If you look the sky, it is still not a sunny weather. But after a while, you get used to it. When we were 17, that was quite everything that we have had done. But, when I became 18, things has changed. Everything was free for me to do. First 2 weeks after I became 18 was crazy. I was clubbing every weekend. I was going to a supermarket and buying my own cigarettes. I was adult according to law and I was enjoying my life so nice. But I get 18 in may and I was studying A levels by that time. So My exams were soon. But I couldn't stop enjoying my life and finally I faced with an ugly truth! When I was in Turkey for summer holiday I learned my results from AS: I have learned that I failed and it was really bad moment of my life. Second year when I started to foundation program,I was more careful. I learned when to go out and enjoy, and when to study. Life gave me a big lesson in other words =) This year I was participating the school events like Bellerbys cup, or May Ball etc...The pictures below show that moments =)
It was really shame that we couldn't win the Bellerbys Cup since we came to this college.. But the events like May Ball was really well organised and we had really big fun in these both in Bellerbys Cup and in May Ball.
